Ashlyn's Dance Recital

This was Ashlyn's dance recital this year. She has become such a good dancer. She is so dramatic. I love it. Sorry I was not on the ball and I had to keep stopping my recording because I would run out of space. But then later when I downloaded by video's I realized that my girls had put 50!! videos on it of just little clips of things around the house. Wish I would have checked that before, but we live and learn right?! We were lucky to be there on time and in the right clothes! Ashlyn is in purple and grabs the yellow on the parachute in front.

MeXiCo!

We were so excited to go to Mexico for the 2nd time and Dace was lucky enough to get to go too. Too bad he won't remember it. We went to Cancun and stayed and The Palace Resorts. It was a very nice hotel with lots of yummy food. Dace did so good traveling even on the 4 1/2 hour flight. He was such a trooper. As you can see in these 1st pics he was exhausted by the time we got there.

Here was a picture of our hotel from the beach.

Our 1st full day we just layed by the ocean and got way too much sun (which we payed for the rest of the trip). Aloe vera is not cheap in Mexico.

The love birds under the umbrella was not us by the way just lucky enough to get in picture I guess!

This was just before we went on an excursion. We walked to a marina that was close by and rode jet skis out in the ocean then went snorkeling. It was so awesome our guide was chumming the fish so they were swimming all around us. It was a lot of fun.

We tried to get a family picture by the ocean but as you can see it didn't work so well trying to hold the baby and the camera.

This was actually our 2nd dinner that night. This restaurant had awesome sushi so we had to go for a late dinner and fried ice cream of course!

This was our sweet bathtub that was in our room. You could lay in the tub and watch tv at the same time. I think everyone should have a bathtub in their front room!

Our last day in Mexico. So sad to leave. We had breakfast and went and soaked in any last rays we could (which are still peeling off) and played in the ocean for the last time.
