Glenwood Springs Trip

This last weekend we went on a family trip to Glenwood Springs, CO. The McClellan family was able to come with us and we had so much fun. We started off with dinner in rifle, co and then when we got there we let the kids swim until 10:30 at night but they had a blast. Besides Brooklyn who is not scared of the water and just jumps in where ever. She also fell and got a bloody nose but it didn't slow her down. Then the next day we went to Adventure Park. We rode the gondola up the mountain and went on this slide which Ashlyn loved she said I didn't go fast enough and told her dad "we are going a lot faster than mom!" We also rode this swing that I was terrified of we swung out over the edge of the mountain. Then later that day Kristen and I got a body wrap and massage which was heaven. Wyatt and Andrew decided they need space to so they went golfing the next morning. While they were doing that we took the kids to target, did some shopping, but mostly let the kids play with all the toys. They loved it and we didn't have to buy anything. We had a blast and got some good eating in. I had never tried sushi until this weekend.

Baby Abram

We were so excited to meet baby Abram for the first time. I don't know who was more excited to hold him Wyatt or Ashlyn. He is so adorable!

Jensen Pumpkin Festival

We went to the Jensen Pumpkin Festival on friday. The girls had a lot of fun looking at all the pumpkins. Ashlyns favorite was the one with the pink hair. But they did think they were being tortured because they had to wait to play on the playground. Then when we got home she decided she had to take her own pictures.

FHE

For family home evening we practiced Ashlyn's part for her 1st primary program which is this next sunday. She is the only one in her class who has still refused to do her part in practice. We have one more practice on saturday so we will see how she performs. So I decided to record it so if she doesn't do it I will still have it on camera. It's really cute all together. They all say their part and then sing "I Am A Child of God" just the sunbeam class. It really is precious. Our activity for FHE was finger painting we each painted a pumpkin picture. The girls both enjoyed it. So here is her part. The one of Brooklyn she is singing "I Am A Child of God" also but I missed the first.

Pumpkin Carving Block Party

We had our 2nd Annual Pumpkin Carving Party on friday. We invited everyone in the neighborhood. There was about 30 people with kids. It was freezing but we all still had a good time. I'm surprised none of the kids got sick they ran from yard to yard all night.
